Posting this one again. Up for sale is my 1986 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. This Car has traveled some distance in its years. This car is an Original California Car. It is also an abandoned vehicle.
The man who owned it in Ca., who was the original owner, stored it in one of those storage facilities and accordingly only drove it sparingly. It was last registered in 2007. It sat as they continued
to pay for the storage. Then in late 2011/early 2012 the payments stopped. And after no contact with the facility, the storage company sold off the cubicle, kinda the way you see on the
TV show, "Storage Wars" . The storage unit was purchased by a company called Cubesmart. They cleaned out the container, as the car was not the only thing in storage.

The car was removed, and ALLLLLLLL the required paperwork was filed and after everything was transferred as it should be, Cubesmart then auctioned the car on E-Bay.
It was purchased by a gentleman in Ms, who got it running again, but was overwhelmed by the expenses he had to pay along with the paper work to file to California to aquire the car.
I purchased it a over three years ago from him and have done some more things to it, but have decided to move on from it, as I no longer have the time to cover all of the cars I do have. Now lets talk about the car. I can give you more story information about the car, if you are interested in purchasing. The car only
has 74k miles on it. I dont know what person at the dealership did the ordering, but he must have been trying to save money. the car is a basic build, dealer lot car. The only options it has is Leather seats and Convenience Group, which is power windows, cornering lamps, intermittent wipers, lighted visors and power mirrors. It is clean, was well cared for, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross-country. It has your normal door dings and a couple extra, as it seems some shelves fell over against the car in storage.
It also has some spotting on the hood and trunk from something being spilled on it at some point. otherwise, it is typical Ford basecoat/clearcoat 80s paint.

Everything on it works, except the A/C, and the engine cooling fan. The wires have been cut since Ive owned it and have not looked into it, as the last '86 I owned, the fan was inop and I never had a problem as long as the car was moving. The car has newer brakes all the way around, with front pads, rear shoes, wheel cyl, and new brake hoses. It has a Walbro fuel pump. The rear axle has been serviced with axle bearings and sealed. The transmission has been serviced and sealed. Newer Spec clutch/belt/hoses/cap/wires/
plugs/filters/etc. A custom exhaust from the cat back, with a DynoMax muffler and Stinger tailpipe. Gillis valve. Full set of CHE upper and lower rear control arms.

Four almost new tires not even 3 years old yet, and much more. About 3k worth of maintenance. There is no rust on this car anywhere, except below the ole back window trim as norm on these cars, but even thats not bad. Also included will be most of the parts receipts, some of the California title work/storage work papers, and the original Build Sheet, found under the back seat. Will be glad to answer any questions that I can answer. Will be posting pics as soon as I can upload them. Call or text me at 256-223-9809.

Update....
I am selling because my youngest son is now a driver, as of a year and a half ago. I can NOT afford to pay for his insurance and tag and the insurance and tag on this car also. It has not hardly moved since he began driving. I crank it often, but drive it seldom. (insurance and tag) It sits in my oldest son's garage gathering dust(or pollen now) and I don't want it becoming a barn find. Price is $3995.
Thanks.

p.s......
Since the whole Photobucket debacle, It seems my pictures do not
like to be loaded thru the URL/ upload. Not good when you want to post some.
Anywho......If you will text me, i will be more than happy to Email, text, or facebook
messenger you some or as many as you would like that I have loaded on my phone.

I'm back, now in Atlanta, and looking for a new project. This one reminds me of my very first new car. I assume it runs and drives well?
