Hey Guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone has seen a set of the Thunderbird wheels with the slots, or know anything of them. I have them on my car but almost none of the pictures on the internet have them? They look like the ones on this car,

Thanks,

Same here, I've never seen those alloys anywhere besides pics of 83 TCs on the internet.

I've seen the swiss-cheese alloys on mine and other 84s, as well as on an 85 Fila, for what it's worth http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/8/unledhlq.png/

the 14" 'swiss cheese' were the 'base' wheel for TCs & XR7

the 390mm TRX were the 'performance' option, until the 10 hole 15" wheels were available

the TRX were also available on mustangs and capris

WOW, so when you said tires were expensive for my rims you weren't kidding.... 400$ for one tire?

I did a bit of research and it seems like they are metric and no one manufactures them anymore. Does anyone here know where I can get some tires that would fit on my rims for a reasonable price? I have two that are in excellent condition and the other two are half melted, so I would only need two tires worst came to worst. I just really want to use the rims that are on the car Smile
