17x9 OZ Monte Carlo wheels...think they'll fit?

I found a guy selling a set of 17x9 Monte Carlo wheels that came off his Mustang he ran at the track (I think a 92GT), you guys think these will rub or plain not fit at all?

Ok, I thought they might rub the fenderwells, I know of guys putting on the 17x8 98 Cobra wheels and they seem to rub, was just verifying, thanks!

You may have to roll your front fender lips a little,not sure..depends on the exact offset and what size tire you go with.

Damn, I did some math and it's not coming out. These have the same 5.89" backspacing that the 95 Cobra R 17x9 wheels have, and even with a 245/45/17 I don't think they will fit by 1/4" or more. I don't know if I can get them in there with the fenderwell tapering in and all...gonna go do some measurements. Another bad thing is the guy doesn't have the centercaps =(

You need to find out what OFFSET they have,that is more critical than backspacing.Our cars have all kinds of room for backspacing,that's not the problem.The offset is the distance between the actual mounting flange and the centerline of the wheel.That will determine how much is sticking OUT towards the the fenderlip,that's where you will run into clearance problems.As far as the center caps go,OZ is still making those wheels so you could still get a set from them if you call or E/M them.Give them a sob story about buying them from a discoount place online and didn't get any with the wheels,they may just send you a set for free,stranger things have happened.
