So i just get done going through almost a whole tank and got around 200 miles to the tank. I dont get too hard on my car, and i do a lot of highway driving. Does this sound like my car is running very rich?

Soon, im replacing the TFI and PIP with motorcraft parts, thats where im starting. I changed the pressure regulator and have a new O2 sensor.

I have motorcraft wires, autolite plugs, clean air filter, 3in exhaust, no EGR, anything else to replace?

You can expect a bit of a drop with the mods you have, but even 20 on the highway is a bit low. Not having the EGR can make you lose a few MPG.

Not to make you sound stupid but how exactly are you calculating your gas mileage? If you are using the gas gauge, you could very well be wrong.

My gas gauge goes on empty and I can usually get another 130 miles before it actually runs out of fuel. I calculate my mileage by topping off my tank and using my trip meter, then topping off again and going by gas put in the tank vs. mileage on the trip. I get around 350 miles to 17 gallons. If I top off, I can get about 400 per tank.

I get about 18-19 mpg but most of my driving is around town and racing to the firehouse twice a day. 15 seems low from your stand point. I usually fill up and reset the trip odometer run it till it is empty when i fill it up i divide the # of gallons into the # of miles. So if i fill up and put 20 gallons in and I drive 350 miles I do 350/20 which = 17.5 mpg. If you do this over a couple weeks you may get numbers like 17.5,19,18.8,16. so add them all up and divide by the number of times you calculated the mpg. so above it is 4 times, so they = 68.3 that divided by 4 is 17.075. which is your average mpg for 4 fill ups.

Well im going to drive a little easier on this tank, and do an actual calculation next time i fill up. I might get 18 or 20 at best, but when i first got the car, with the original motor, i swore i got like 25, with 180,000 miles.
