Wow -- it's gonna be cool just utter that phrase..."Yeah, it's got a quarter million on it..." [Image: biggrin.gif]

Anyway - I'm coming up on 244K. Engine's completely original, as is the turbo. The only major part not original is the auto trans which I swapped for a 5 spd at ~170k.
Besides the unsolved oil leaks and a vibrations here and there it still runs like a champ and stock boost gauge gets up to 16psi fairly regularly.

I know there's a lot of 200k+ Birds on the forum. Anyone 250+? Any of those original?

I've got about 11k to go to the quarter mil mark. I'll be there before the end of the year unless I win the lotto and get to buy a different daily driver.

Since I haven't bought a ticket, though...

Yep....I am at 259,400. Proably be around 261k to 262k come Carlisle. It is still my daily driver. Short block (except for the addition of a high volume oil pump) and turbo are still original and untouched. Original clutch and throw-out bearing lasted until 177,000. Put in another stock clutch at the time. Original 5 spd, but 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd sychro's are shot. New head with mods as listed in signature made around 190,000, and now the stock clutch is slipping a little in 4th and 5th at 18 psi boost. So a Spec 2/3 combination clutch/plate will go in before Carlisle. Paint is in fairly good condition because it has been mostly garage kept its whole life. Interior is is really good shape except for a single crack in the dash.

Figuring I will keep it another year or two...that 07 Shelby Mustang GT500 is looking really nice.... [Image: cool.gif]

Is that original?!

Well, chances are I'm going to make it to 250K. If I get the job I just interviewed for - a new (used) pick up/suv is in my future (boat tower), which could mean letting the bird go. But I've got so much invested this car (as much time/sweat/bloody knuckles as money) and would get so little out of it I might keep it around even if I do get something else. Body's solid - clear coat's a wreck.

Ha. 268,000 Some odd miles on my blue beater. Even though the previous owner sat that it was rebuilt around 150K, it appears he was just trying to get rid of the car. (No documents) As far as i can tell, the only time the valve cover was off the car was when i replaced the gasket. Oh well, it still runs strong at 18PSI and still gets 18 On the vac guage
