Hi guys,

1. If I use a gillis valve, do I need to keep my bcs connected electrically for the ecu?

2. Is there a difference between the Map Sensor (with vacuum disconnected)in the N/A vs the BPS in the tbird? I have both available.

Thanks

If you use a Gillis you don't have to have the BCS plugged in for the EEC. However, if you unplug it you will throw a code on your scanner at KOEO.

You can remove the BCS entirely with no ill efects. You will get a code 81 during the KOEO test if it is removed, which you can just ignore, or, if you dont want to see the code 81, put a 100 ohm, 1 Watt resistor across the BCS electrical connector.

Sent yo an E mail on that one.

Thanks
