Strange 8.8 swap problem on 86 TC

Each axle should have had a tag held on by one of the differential cap bolts. Can you document the tag numbers with each axle you describe?

Read the chart, BUT what may have been left out is the fact of when your car was built IF its an 86. It may have a 85 rear depending on how early the car was built making the 86 a oddball year that may have different length rear ends depending on build date.

True, the early '86 did use the same rear housings as the '85...
