It's me again. Anyone have the corect Motorcraft part number for a tps for an 88 Turbo Coupe.

Thanks vegas ss. Have tried everywhere...NOT AVAILABLE. My Ford dealer can't find any other than Rock Auto & they show 2 different ones ?????Someone here said they got 1 from Rock & it did not fit...
What to do ????

Try googling E7ZZ9B989C, there are some results for other brands. Standard Motor Products TH16 may be a good option.

Googled it.....Standard is out of stock everywhere i looked. It may only last a few months, but i got a Walker unit from Amazon for $33...probably junk
Still search'n. i'm gonna be suare to have a spare. I love these cars, but kinda wish i'd kept my flathead v8............

I think I have that Walker unit. I got mine from Amazon like you did, when I could not find a Motorcraft one.

FWIW, I set mine at .94 volts in April 2019 (I think that’s right, don’t have the Repair Log Book in front of me), and have had no problems since. So, I can vouch for it.

I’ll double check on that later on.

1987 Turbo Coupe w/T5OD, 8.8 axle, grey smoke; most options. Got it in 1991 with 41K miles: 3 turbos, 2 heater cores, 3 T5OD full rebuilds, 6 clutches, 1 head gasket, 2 Teves II ABS units, etc. later....

Thanks for this info, sounds encouraging. I'm getting a spare too.  Yes, .94 v is right. How many miles on your car now ?  Have a GR8 day & thanks again.

Just under 281,000. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
