I'm still dealing with getting the right wheel/tire combo on my '86. I spoke with AFS (wheel/tire dealer on Ebay) and they can install any size tire I want. I was thinking 245/45R17 (got a lot of recommendations on those, thanks!) on the 17x8 silver Cobra R's. Just for fun, I put on a set of 225/50R16's I had laying around. Yeah they look too small, especially in the back! I want to fill up the wheelwell quite a bit more. I know my new wheels will be 1" bigger (17's) but should I go with 245/50's or maybe even 60's? The other pic is with the stock 15" 10-holers. Tire size there is 235/60R15. Here's some more #'s to confuse ya! The 16" tires are 23-3/4" tall.
The 15" tires are 24-5/8" tall.
From ground to top of wheelwell is 27" with both sets. What'dya think, 45's, 50's or 60's??
