Won't start, clicking in right front fender???

All I did was jack up the front driver's side of the car and take the wheel off to look at the lower balljoint. Car sat for a few hours, then I went back out, put the wheel back on, and put the car back on the ground. Hit the key, all I get is loud clicking from the front right fender. What's the deal? Starter? I've had this car 3 days.

Battery could be dead/dying.

I'd say you need to find out what shape the battery is in first. Many places will test it for free. It might be good to clean connections and major grounds also

It didn't sound like a battery problem to me, but sure enough, you guys were right. Jumped right to life. Thanks very much,
