Fresh tranny fluid, and personally I'd sure put a new clutch in while the transmission is out.

With almost any oil leak, the oil ends up in the area where a rear seal leak would also be.
Make sure that the leak isn't originating somewhere else

If the driveshaft U-joints have not been replaced in a while, might as well do those while the driveshaft is out.....

If you also pull the clutch and flywheel, be sure to change the rear main seal.

I'd definitely put in a new clutch fork and throw-out bearing to get rid of, or prevent, the cricket sound that these cars are well known for.

Check for end shaft play on your tail piece of the tranny. If you have play then replace the seal and bushing. Take the drive shaft to a tranny shop and have the drive shaft balanced if you do have play. Cost is 16 for seal and bushing and 24 for balance. Money well spent and easy to do.
To remove simply unbolt tail piece. Use RTV on clean surfaces to replace.
