The subject line pretty much sums up the short version. Jeff Korn is this year's Golden Turbo Award. We wish Jeff could have been at Carlisle to receive it in person. Hope fully Gary or somebody can post some pictures of the Historical Plaque and the Personal Plaque. Dan, Nate, Gary and I made the selection this year as time was short. The award is for persons making significant contributions to the NATO Origanization. I can't think of anyone more deserving than Jeff. Thank you for all you have done Jeff.
We will get the plaque in the mail real soon.

I'm looking for a few NATO members to be the selection committee for next years award. Please contact me at my e-mail.

I want to thank everyone for the award!!!! It is good to know that the time I have spent helping people and writing some of the tech articles / FAQs is appreciated! I am going to really try to arrange my schedule so I can make it to Carlisle next year.

Of course, with the good comes the bad.... a week or 2 ago, I started to notice the dreaded fogged windshield above the defroster vents.... yup, heater core leak. Big surprise. Spent parts of the last few days replacing it. What a royal PITA. While I was at it, I dropped the heater fan box, and cleaned out all the crap in there... a small lunch bag full of leaves an other junk, and cleaned the evaporator core. A/C and heat now work much better than they ever did. Also did a complete tune up, and switched over to NGK 2238 plugs. Car runs great, and idles so smooth it is hard to tell it is even running. But now, I am really sick of working on the damn thing!

Congratulations Jeff, you would get my vote. I did the heater core replacement this winter in the driveway. I double triple the PITA, but heat is great.

I'd also like to thank Pete, Gary, Nate and anyone I missed for keeping the club going and growing and setting up for the show. Any one of you guys could be next year's winner.

Congradulations Jeff, well deserved!
I've said it to you I don't know how many times before.... THANKS for all your help and technical info you give to NATO, not to mention all the time you have spent writting the numerous Tech & FAQ articles. Without you there would still be a lot of uncharted areas that all us TCer's would be lost in... especially the dreaded electronics area.
