It's a beauty, hope it finds a good home. I'm sure what ever it finally sells for is way out of my reach.

?The minimum bid is only $10,000 but RESERVE NOT MET, so we actually don't know how much they want for it!!
That T.C. may be the nicest one on the planet!
Whoever buys it better have heated storage and almost never drive it, because every mile that's put on it will lower it's value accordingly!! I would love to have that beauty sitting in my garage. Smile
Just purchased my '85 TurboCoupe 5-speed from the original owner in Plymouth, MI. It's 100% factory original with only 40K miles!

One thing that looks suspicious to me is the alternator. All the older alternators I've seen don't look like that one. Then again, I'm no expert.

I was thinking that too. The 88 alternator did have more of a swiss cheese case than the '87, but I dont recall the back of it looking like that...

My alternator looks just like that one except it's not all shiny.
I'd like to see something like this come up on one of those big Mecum car auctions. I've been watching them on TV for years, never seen any TC's come up for sale. That would give us a real indication of what the current market value of TC it top condition is. My guess is this seller is expecting well north of $15K for this car. I've seen a couple of pristine sub 10,000 mile TC's on ebay in the last few years, none of them got bids beyond $10~$12,000. It will be interesting to see where this one goes.
