Anybody see the website for WebElectric Products' sequential turn signal setup? I was looking into gettin' it and was wondering if it anybody thinks it would work on our cars. I followed the discussion a while back on the conversion and I saw this link the other day. Any opinions?

Just a thought - you may want to check the classic mustang/cougar restorers as well (Mustangs Unlimited, Tony D.Branda etc.) They have "dynamite sticks" that were used in the Cougars and 69-70 Shelbys GT350s & 500s.

Not sure if they are any cheaper, but that was who I was going to buy them from over the summer (bought parts cars instead). These guys usually had pretty good prices & quality.

By chance did anyone email this place to see if they have a kit that will work with our TC's or if they would be interested in making one for us?

This kit is built by hand, by a Thunderbird owner and afficionado. He's even got 2-bulb kits so you don't have to hack up your existing wiring harness. Highly recommended.

Do you need to go to the column for signals with this kit, or can all the connections be completed in the trunk?

You need to get a pure turn signal so the column is the only place to get that. If you have an '86-'88 you can get the brake signal from the third brake light; otherwise you have to run a wire to the brake switch on the pedal.

Eric, We had somebody workin gon a design at one time. I don't know the particulars (electrically chanllenged) but I know he said the lamp out warning module was complicating things alot. Is the one you mentioned compatable with that module?

Thats what is stopping me from getting one of these kits. I would be willing to bet none of them is system sentry compatable, and personally, I like my system sentry!

Direct quote from Carmen: "I had one in my T-Bird Sport, which had the lamp-out module and I had no problems. I know the lamp-out module was working because before I installed the sequencer I had a burned out brake light, and every time I used the brake or turned that signal light on the 'lamp out' light would come on. About the only problem I can see is that the lamp-out light probably wouldn't come on if there was actually a lamp out."
