I bought a track lok rear from a Mark VII to get the 5 lug conversion. It is a 3:27. I have a 3:73 in the car now (5 speed car). I think I should use the 3:73. My son thinks I should use the 3:27. Anyone here running a 3:27 in a TC? The car is an 88.

you sure its a 3.73 right now? 5 speeds came with 3.55's
obviously if you care at all about your acceleration you wont want 3.27

87/88 autos were 3.73's manuals were 3.55's. where do you do most of your driving? alot of highway the 27's would be better and help on gas milage. around town the 73's get you out of the hole quicker but cost more rpms in the highway cruise.

It was an auto and I left the 3:73 rear when I did the 5 speed changeover.
