Just a thought, but if you zip-tied it to the hood safety latch piece that's just above where you have it now, it'll still get just as cool air, but you won't have to worry about dirt and water so much. Just a thought...

i was thinking about it...but the latch doesnt bolt to anything on the bottom...is it supposed to?...mine is bolted firm on the top but the bottom just kinda dangles

Gee...with a little more dryer duct, you could just pull cool air from Canada [Image: biggrin.gif]

I've never been a big fan of the dryer duct look myself...I like the mandrel bent elbows.

im going to make a mandrel bent CAI someday...but i cant afford it right now

i wanted to make a CAI, and i had $15 in my wallet...so it all worked out nicely [Image: smile.gif]

Just run another hose clamp around the filter's rubber boot (or however else you deem to be most sturdy), and run a heavy-duty zip-tie thru the new hose-clamp and the hole in the support. That's what I was talking about- refer to pic.
