ok im seriously considering starting to build a spare shortblock for my tc. Are there any differences between the turbo and NA blocks, meaning could i stuff forged internals in a na block.
Where could i get rods, and pistons for said build? I have a spare head, that im probably gonna port, and stuff with a ranger cam. Ive just got too many ideas floating thru my head lately.
thanks for the help

Lots of info in the archives... NA block will work, needs an oil return for the turbo. Also, if its overbored, some of the newer NA blocks are reported to have thinner walls... thus a greater likely-hood of split cylinder walls with forced injection...

Ranger cam is good. What I use anyway... lots of others do too. Regular stock stuff will work if you have the older style wide journal crank.

If you don't find more stuff searching here, try at Turbo Ford... lots at both sites, really.
