I decided to be a cheapass yesterday and get the wiper blade refills instead of the new assemblies. Just to make sure I did it right, I sprayed the window cleaner on to test it out and the blades pop right out of the clips... lol
Total garbage, I'll never buy them again [Image: mad.gif]

Many years ago I discovered that the enginering degree I decided not to persue in college was required to put in the replacement blades so I have always opted for the complete blade assy. Of course it still takes a deree to figure out how to put those on but WTF [Image: biggrin.gif]

I do have that degree in engineering and I buy the complete units. Not worth my time to go back in to get the right one's the second time. They do this on purpose.

....pssst I got a little secret.
I send my wife to Autozone in the car needing blades. They install them no charge and I don't have to deal with it. [Image: smile.gif]

Well, they weren't very hard to get out because all that is required on mine is that you squeeze the retaining clips and slide the old blade out and slide the new one in. The problem with the new one is that it isn't as wide as the last ones were so they pop out when they are bent sideways (wiping the window).. blah $3 wasted [Image: frown.gif]

Went to Autozone just before Francis' winds and rain hit us last week. I changed the blade but didnt turn the blades on so that I could pull em back to put the new ones on $6.99 per side winter blade assembly. So I had taken one side off to go inside and get the right ones. Came out started the blades and scratched my new F..in Glass .. Oh well.. Next to me was an autozone guy doin a hot chicks car's blades.. Impatience kills akkk

Digi, I think he is saying that he started the wipers in motion before he remembed he did not have a wiper blade on one arm. The arm scratched the glass.
I'm a big fan of the rubber encased winter blades.
