NATO NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!

Fellow NATO members

Our current NATO Treasurer, Paul Crilley, is unable to continue as our treasurer.  Paul has been our treasurer for quite a number of years, and has done an excellent job for all of us NATO members.

We need a volunteer to take over the job of NATO treasurer.  Duties include keeping track of yearly dues paid by members (nearly all of us pay our yearly membership dues via Paypal, making this fairly straight forward), filing various tax forms once a year, paying for our web site, paying for our tent and chair rentals for Carlisle, etc.   Paul has a detailed spreadsheet to take care of much of the "busy work" part of the job, so in many cases, all that needs to be changed are numbers in the spreadsheet on a regular basis.

Without the help of someone willing to take over this important position, NATO my cease to exist!

Paul will continue as treasurer until a replacement is found (hopefully within a few months, not years!). When I talked to Paul, he stated that he may be able to continue with the "financial number crunching" part of the treasurers job if someone else could take over the membership management part of the job. If you would like to talk with Paul directly, you can call or text him at 814-923-1581. Paul is a super nice guy (just like every TC owner I have ever met) and I am sure he would be happy to talk with you.

Also, something to note is that we're trying to fully 'digitize' the NATO membership so everything is done directly through the NATO website electronically rather than the old manual way.

for example, we're hoping to get all members moved over to our membership subscription that already exists on the website (you need to be logged in to the forum to view it): https://turbotbird.com/bankpipe.php

I am not the person for this job with my other responsibilities, but I don't want to see this resource go away for myself and future TC owners.    I am just at my limits with everything on my plate already.

That said if it is the 11th hour and no one has stepped up to the plate, please give me a call.

Thanks,
Mike
