I would think there are quite a few here with this turbo kit installed, yes?

I created a new post on engine swaps recently of which this was one of my options, but it appears no one wants to engine swap. That is a serious compliment to the  2.3L.

With mine only having 59k miles, I wanted to preserve it, and swap in something with a T56 for low revs on the highway. Some Mustangs going back a few years now come with a 2.3L and T56 six speed. The 2015 for example comes stock with 310HP.

Unfortunately the website says the kit is sold out at this time. It may be worth inquiring if it will be available in the future.
I have been curious about his kit too.

What is the 6th gear in the T56 ratio? The 5th gear in our T5 is .8
Edit: aren't the new Mustangs with a T45?

yes i noticed that, the manifold alone was sold out for the last half a year or so. I'm sure it will be in stock again.

The ratio depends on what model/year. The T56 i have in my 88 Trans Am is 0.5. It made a world of difference on the highway doing 70 with 700r4 was at to 3750 rpms, with T56 its 1710 rpms.

The new Mustangs do come with the 6 speed. It isn't a T56 though. It is a TR3160 or at least that is what wikipedia is stating.

Thanks, the site says it moves the turbo location by 0.5 an inch or so. How easy was the install? I would think not too much to mod?

For reference, '88 TC with 3.55 gears and T5 is 2570 RPM in 5th for me.
Honestly, I am not sure I would want to be lower rpm with this motor and the hills on the highway otherwise I would have to downshift for regular driving, but I am still run a stock IHI with 3" exhaust.

so i did it on my 86, with a front mount intercooler. its really not hard at all. a little time consuming. but worth it. the spool up difference is in my opinion major.
