NEWBIE hello! I have a problem...please HELP!!!! - mamaboy - 12-17-2002

I have a problem with the T3 turbo off the earlier turbo coupes. I'm in the process of building custom turbo project, but the problem I'm facing are the compressor inlet and outlet (cold side) It seems like I have to bolt some sort of flange and pipe on there. I have been informed that one of the pipes bolts on to the throttle body I can't find these parts. What are they and does anybody have any lying around. I will pick up...sorry if i sound like i don't know what i'm talking about....i really don't...i'm not familiar with this car at all...thanks

The pipe you are referring to doesn't bolt to the Throttle Body, it's hose clamped. It is a short section found on all 83-86 Turbocoupes. I think there might be som ein the local Junkyards, but I haven't been out there in a while. The inlet to the compressor housing is another short piece that justs bolts onto the housing, it's no longer than, say 3.5"-4"... I don't know where you can get them other than checking the FOR SALE forum, and listing your query in the WANTED forum...
