Hey guys read the tech article on the fuel pump diagnostics trying to figure some stuff out.
I took a picture of the IRCM and took it apart. I was wondering which one of these things are the fuel pump relay if any of them? If one of them are is it safe to try and take one of them out? I tryed a little but didn't want to break anything.

Also was wondering pete if you could send me a wiring diagram of the fuel pump.

Okay so i had the IRCM unplugged for about a week and let the car sit till i had time to fix it. I went and plugged the IRCM back in to see if it would start last night and it started right up. I let it run for about 2 minutes and shut it off. I also started it and shut it off a few time since then. So i thought the car fixed itself and went to take it to the gas station to get some air in the tires. Thing stalled on me and wouldn't start back up.
Any ideas? A loose wire somewhere possible?
bump somehow it got moved to bottom.
Loose wire - maybe. Do you know if the pump primed when it stalled and you tried to restart it?
yea i think it did. All my fuel pump does you can hear something close after about 7 seconds of key turned over (it kinda sounds like a clunk noise). It doesnt make a buzzing noise like my dad's buick.
It ran fine until i went to go take off and it went to stall. I pushed in clutch and tryed taking off again where it died and wouldn't turn on. Now its parked in some parking lot.

The fuel pump should only prime for 2-4 seconds (based on my experience, not a service manual)
Not sure about a "clunk" type sound. I never really heard that from a fuel pump. Are you sure it wasn't the brake booster pump running, under the hood?
Well I was hearing the same noise from when the car was not running and when the car started running. So I would say yes the fuel pump is running.
My brake booster (if it's the thing that is on the firewall in the black box driver side) makes a derrrrrrrrr noise when key is turned on too.
Oh i could also smell the gas after trying to turn the car over for a few.
Sir the fuel pump relay is the one furthest from the connector and the lone one. The three on the top near the connector with the connector facing up are as follows from left to right
EEC relay-Secondary fan-Primary fan.
