No, but I think it's a great idea! You'd get faster 1/4 times and plus you'd be able to build boost without moving... hmmm...

What,s involved in that swap?Where do you get a C4 that will bolt up to the 4cyl. block.Mine has the C3 and 1st gear sucks.

The Ford Pinto's used the C-4 trans. Also I think some of the early small pick-ups w/2.3 and 2.0. Not sure on this but,maybe some of the Mazda pu's?

you need a c4 from a 73 to78 pinto or fairmont or mustang II for cylinder or any c4 but youll need the bell housing from any or these cars other than that its a bolt on problem is finding the bell housing

Has anyone done a write up on this conversion? What are the options if I want to keep it as a dependable automatic that will not see alot of abuse?(just a little thrashing every now and then)
