Last week i finished the swap to a 5 speed, and ill post pics of my car soon if you guys want. The tachometer in my car even with the auto in it looks like its half if not less than it should be. At idle its about 100-400RPM at what i would consider to be about 4000RPM its like 2000RPM, and thats the highest ive had it for now. It might not actually be 1/2 but its definitely f'd up. What could this be? Also i have switched to a LA2 computer and still the boost only goes to 8-10psi and it looks like at high Revs that it is hitting a boost limiter (it bounces a little from like 10psi down to 8psi and so on). The car feels good but i can tell all the power isnt there yet, but i do still have the auto single stock exhaust on until i get it inspected. I plan on getting the valve to set the boost manually sometime soon, do you have to upgrade the fuel system right away to use the boost valve safely and what psi. Next thing, i have the eibach lowering springs for the TC and i would like to put caster camber plates on while i have it apart if you guys think its the right move. I would like to keep the stock electronic controlled struts/shocks on but it talked to a guy at maximum motorsports and he wasnt sure if they could be used, does Kenny Brown have them also? Can any or either of these be used with the adjustable struts, has anyone done it. Thanks for the help, the sooner the better so i can lower this thing i got the springs sitting next to it but i want to do it right. Sorry for the lengthy questions just trying to make this car bad ass. The first night i got the car running someone in a jeep grand cherokee tried to race me, these cars must just look fast, i was being easy on the clutch (breaking it in) and whooped him not that thats a great accomplishment just thought it was funny first 10 minutes on the road and already someone is trying to race me. Thanks for any help.
None of the C/C plates on the market can be made to work with the PRC,but if you are going to lower it,your PRC will pretty much be useless anyway so no major loss.I think 10 psi is all you're gonna get out of the LA2,it is from 87 I believe, when they still had the boost limits programmed in.You will need an LA3 to get the boost you want,or when you get your manual boost valve hooked upyou will be setting it yourself. So, the computer won't matter.

Too much fun, what's that mean? That's like too much boost, there's no such thing.
Thanks, i thought the 87 had 15psi but only in 1st and 2nd gear or something like that, anyone else got any ideas, how about the tach problem.
