Can someone explain what this is? I can find alot about it, but not what it is and does. I see it stands for Spark Out, which means?
It's a jumper/plug that allows base static spark timing to be set. Unplugged = fixed timing (how the base timing is set), plugged in = normal op where ECM can control timing.

Located near the disty, sometimes hard to spot. Mine was all tangled up in the harness in that area.
