well after searching all over the forums for Fuel sending unit problems and trying to trace one down i finally fixed it! well it all started out with a leaky tank in my 86. i looked a few places and finally found the correct 19 Ga tank on ebay for 79 plus shipping 109 total. So it came in 2 days to my surprise and i immediatly began the tear down and install. Everything was rusted together so i had to break it all apart. when i removed the sending unit i found it was missing the Float. Easy enough. well after i removed the fuel pump i found the float. still in good condition. i reinstalled it and all the tank parts, filled er up and I HAVE FUEL!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaa Im freaking ecstatic

Also i got a near perfect T3 .60/.63 off some guy with a civic for 60 bux. He bought it off someone with a totalled 70,000 mile 86TC . Now i don't have to rebuild mine right away.. Damn all is good today
Congrats. Sounds like an excellent day

My float was also gone from the sender, although it was simply gone, no remnants, anything. Must of have some of the fuel additives I played with last tear [Image: biggrin.gif]
