also, i have no qualms getting rid of PRC. call me old fashioned, im not a fan of ABS either
I got some rear shocks for my 88 from advance for $13 [Image: biggrin.gif]
I have the Sensatrac strut/shock setup on mine with the Koni lowering springs. It handles really well and I like them. The only reason why I went with this is cause my suspension was totally whooped with 206,000 and never touched. I would recommend monroe stuff if you can't get anything else.
I had bolted right up a set of Gabriels on the front of my coupe that came off an 81 Capri 5.0. The rears wouldn't fit of course but as mentioned they're fine anyway.
The fronts did have to be shimed to fit but was no big deal. They'r not too short either if your woundering.
BUT all this will change this winter 'cause I just baught a parts car and the PRC works , so I'll be going back to stock. [Image: smile.gif]

hey bro, that sucks, i would try other autozones, because the one i tried was on field ertel rd., located in deerfield township.....located in ohio. they said they had some in stock in the warehouse, so they had went and pulled me the set since i was willing to buy them. I went to autozone to fix my thunderchicken yesterday, and i should have asked them, but forgot to ask... i will go back and see if they have anymore in the warehouse, i'll be in touch.
Dennis, a.k.a. Thunder Chicken

Does anyone know if the Super Coupe struts could be adapted to the TC? I know they were manufactured by Tokico. Probably could not be used on a TC since it's a completely different vehicle....

That is a good question. There are some people on this board that own both an 87-88 TC and an SC..... maybe one of those people will be able to compare a TC and SC strut side by side, and see if the SC strut could be some how adapted to the TC.
