I open the passenger door to push the fuel door button in the glove box.
Shut the door but it didn't close properly. Open'd it and closed it again. The door didn't latch tight but the door safety latch locked. Now it won't open from inside or out and the door isn't completely shut. Messed around locking/unlocking manually and electrically, both passengr door handles.
Is there an way to open the door (safety latch) without having to take the door panel off from the inside? Or any other helpful ideas?

Thanks,
Mr C
hey MR C i had this same problem dont know how it happen. but i sure did have it. What i had to do is get one person inside the car hold the door handle like there going to open it. and then one person on the outside pull the door handle like your going to open it and with both handle in open postion have the guy on the inside push the door open. I had the same problem happen like 3 times.
Dave,

Thanks for the reply! I was geting worried I would have to bring it in to a body shop. I'll give your fix a try. Thanks alot!

Mr C
That is not a fix. lol that is a get it open. On mine the spring inside broke the safty latch was still holding the door shut. I just bought a new spring at home depot cut it to size and BINGO works perfect ever sense. good luck man
