Took the 88 T C auto trans. for a ride yesterday & it only made 5-8 lbs. of boost.
Was fine the day before ???
Suggestions please and thanks in advance !!!
Stock or aftermarket boost gauge? Stock boost gauges tend to be inaccurate.

Thanks Jeff. Stock gauge has shown 10-12 till yesterday and it seemed slow to rev.
Just drove it & it ran just fine ???
I know the fuel has Seafoam in it....i'm gona fill it with Sun. Ultra 94 oct.
I could feel the difference when i used Sunoco in my 87 back in the day.
Dual exhaust coming next week and i remember how that woke up my 87. Can't wait.
Thanks again !!!!

Any chance you have a boost leak from a small split or loose hose clamp in the turbo to IC hose or IC to TB hose? Any hoses popped off the vacuum tree or any other vacuum leaks?

All the vac hoses look & feel good. Low boost has majically gone away. Ran perfect yesterday till my last drive when idle went to 1500 rpm. Shut down, restart & it was fine. Going to a guy who worked for Ford when these cars were new, tps, iac to be checked etc. He has an original analyser that plugs into the original harness. The more i drive the better it gets. Were some British cars here yesteray and they eyed & acknowleged the car...neat stuff.
Thanks Jeff!

Hello t c mike, your symptoms seem to me that your fuel pump is about to go.
