Several years ago I removed the sunshade from my 88T/C because it looked terrible as a lot of the flocking was damaged. I bought a kit to redo the flocking which came out ok, not 100% perfect, but a lot better than it was.
Anyway, due to life’s curveballs, I never got around to re-installing the sunshade way back when.
Now with a lot of time on my hands I got the sunshade out of storage to re-install it and I had a ziplock bag taped to it with two little clips with a note indicating they attach to the rear edge of the sunshade. Unfortunately I neglected to take a picture of the exact location. At the rear of the sunshade there are 3 tabs with grooves in them on the top side. Do the clips locate into the 2 outer tabs.
I do have shop manuals explaining the removal/installation procedure for the moonroof and sunshade, it just doesn’t mention the proper location for these 2 tabs.
See attached pictures and thanks for any input.

GTBird,
I just went out and looked at mine. I can see the two clips you have there in the pic. Mine has one each pushed on each side, so if you look at your shade and see the three tabs which you show in your pic, there is one clip on each outboard tab with the extra rubber of the clip facing down, kind of like a slide. If that makes sense
Thanks Kuch, that’s what I thought. The clips act as glides supporting the back of the shade.
Thanks again for the quick reply.
