I have a donor 88 tc thats got a rough underside but good drivetrain. I have a roller fox body that has a 5 speed pedal assembly in it but thats it. Im wondering what parts ill need to gather exactly to make the tc T5 cable clutch?? Its going to need a clutch as well so I gotta do that while the motor is apart anyways.

The only part is have now currently is a bare cable clutch bellhousing with no fork or anything. I might be over complicating this but id rather be fully prepped when it comes down to crunch time.
Ian, from what I have read '83 to '86 TC have cable clutches compared to the hydraulic in '87-88. Maybe you can get parts from one of those?
needs the bell housing from a fox mustang 4cyl. those are easy to find. makesureit has the pivot arm and dog with it. and of course the fork.

Also kinda on the fence of converting the fox body to hydraulic. Not sure how much work it is to make the TC stuff to work on a fox body and install the slave cylinder. Kinda looking to keep it simple and I feel like cable would be the simplest.

the master cylinder for the Tbird clutch pedal is mounted on the steering column boot. as long as you will to disassemble that and make is work with the mustang your good.i prefer cable clutch since all the parts are the same as a mustang,so quadrants, cables and adjusters are readily available .
