North American Turbocoupe Organization

I have been trying to find a tailpipe for my 86TC. No one seems to have any. I have read that Mustang tailpipes of the same vintage require only slight modification. Anybody have first hand knowledge of this? will it work?

well I'm surprised you can't find aftermarket replacements,
but -if yur not going for a "resto".. then have a muffler shop bend you a 2.5" system !

(or buck up for a mandrel bent 3" system if you plan future upgrades which will need it)

either will make a big difference in the performance of your TC

my XR7 dropped nearly a second off it's 0-60 with the 2.5" exhaust upgrade

thanks. I was considering taking the old one to the muffler shop and have them copy it

I have my original also if you need pix or measurements .. lmk
