Ok
I have a small problem. Car wont turnover/start. Turn key, no fuel pump, no starter, nothing. Battery is good, can jump across solenoid and starter engages and turns motor over.
Checked inertia switch.
I was backing my car up to move it into a different location by my house and it just shut off!
I have replaced the ignition switch in the steering column, I have read these things are known to go bad and cause the same conditions I am seeing. No luck still nothing.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When you replaced the ignition switch, how did the connector look?

Have you checked ALL the fuse links under the hood? There are lots of them.

Does the clock, radio, etc work with the key in run or accessory?

What year is the TC? Wiring changed SIGNIFICANTLY from the 83-86 to the 87-88?

Look for corrosion in the battery cable ends, where they attached to the terminal/clamps. Had this stop me dead on a TC once and it happened suddenly. I didn't think it was "that bad" but as soon as I replaced the cables, on the advice of the more knowledgeable people here, everything was good again.

No the clock, radio, etc does not work when i turn the key on.
This is a 1988 TC.
I did look at the cables and grounds under the hood. All seemed to be good. I can look a little closer and see if there is something i missed.

To check fuse links, first look at them (there are lots) and see if ny of the insulation looks burnt, melted, etc. If so, grab on each end and pull. If it is bad, it will pull apart.

Do you have wiring diagrams or the EVTM for your TC? If not, you will need either of these to troubleshoot the problem.
