Hi guys. I'm replacing the rack in my car this week.
I noticed there's four listings from cardone for 88 tbird.

w/o Performance Suspension and (Ford Gear) and w/1 Piece Mounting Bushing
Inline filter available;Includes Inner Tie Rods 22-203F
w/o Performance Suspension and (Ford Gear) and w/2 Piece Mounting Bushings
Inline filter available;Includes Inner Tie Rods 22-203A
w/o Performance Suspension and (TRW Gear)
Inline filter available;Includes Inner Tie Rods 22-203T
w/Performance Suspension
Inline filter available;Includes Inner Tie Rods 22-207

I purchased the 22-207 but now that I have the old rack most of the way out, I'm having me doubts (the old rack has 2 piece bushings).

What are your thoughts? Thanks
My guess would be the 22-207 since it is for a vehicle with the with performance suspension. The TCs also use a rack with a faster turning ratio. I would think that would be in the specs for the various racks. I can't speak to the bushings.
Standard Tbird is 3 turns lock to lock variable ratio rack, TC "performance" rack is 2.5 turns lock to lock constant ratio. As far as the bushings go, just use the appropriate bushings for the rack you get.
The new rack is officially in...The only rack cardone makes with
the 2.5 turns is the 22-207, so that did end up being the correct rack and everything fits perfect. However, they ship with the in correct bushings to mount to the TC subframe, I ended up ordering MOOG K8422 bushings and using them with the rack. What a pain in the butt. Both original power steering lines broke coming out of the old rack, the lower steering shaft is frozen and wouldn't telescope. So I had to pull the rack out first to beat the shaft out. I ended up dropping the entire steering column to install the new rack, because the internal lines are taller and they barely clear the subframe. Then to add insult to injury, I didn't catch that one of the new lines was missing an o-ring when I installed it, so I had to pull both lines out a second time to fix that.

So glad to be done!
Good to hear you got'er done, Andrew! Those Teflon O rings are easy to forget and a semi PITA to get on correctly.
