Well i searched everywhere for a tbird header panel and all i found was this cougar one. it growing on me. lots of people like it so far what do you all think???

I like it. I got to see it live in dayton and I thought it was sharp
that looks tough!!! id keep it, nice wheels too. get some paint on her, and lower it a few inches, and youve got your self a bad-ass car!!

Finally have mods that I can post... 373 gears with a brand new t5. K&N cone. Gillis set to 15 psi. Walbro 255 lph. Kirban afpr. Kelly Evo Z tires. Energy suspension front swaybar bushings. Rebuilt topend with stock components.

Working on a FMIC w/ the stock IC.
I like it. It's one of a kind. My TC looks like everyone else's.

Very cool looking! Seems the early Bird is rare these days anyway, so yours is really a one-of-a-kind!
I'm pretty sure that the early Bird/Coug headers are the same. So you should be able to just stick a Bird grill on it (I have an 84 grill if this does work). Of course, it wouldn't be quite so original then...

i thought so too but the header panel is from a 84 cougar. They are very similar but they are 1.5" further out than the tbird. aparently the only thing different between the tbird and couagrs front end is the header panel.
