I'm putting an engine together and am wondering about the aux pulley
On one side it has a white mark which I assume is a timing mark, on the other it has a little triangle. Which one do I keep facing out so my engine timing is correct?
Thanks
Yea I was using that write up but I must of been skipping over some parts

Basically my engine was completely apart so nothing was in time. As long as the crank is at TDC for piston 1, cam mark is lined up with cam and aux bolts, and rotor is pointing at the piston 1 terminal with the distributer roughly in that position from the write up, I should be in the ballpark?

Basically it doesnt matter what position the aux pulley Is in, as long at the distributer is in the correct position according to the crank and cam, right?
No it doesn't matter what way the aux pulley is facing. Sounds to me like you're probably close enough for it to fire.
Awesome, yea its dialed in pretty well right now so it should start up as is
Just need to install a couple other things like oil and coolant lines and it should be ready to drop in, can't wait to drive my 87 again
