Looks good, Jon! Just needs a little TLC.
Jon, Congratulations. Did Mike tell you the back story on that car? It's got great history:

That car was owned by Evelyn (Powershifter) Kastanada who only drove it on weekends, usually 1/4 mile at a time. They dedicated a section of bleachers in her name at Norwalk Drag Way. I heard the strip owner has her first fragged clutch gold plated and mounted on a plaque in his office.

Enjoy! and welcome back.
REALLY!?!?! no he failed to mention that! ill be sure to treat it with care. you all have seen my birds, i take them very seriously. i will not bend this one into the scrap heap like i did goldie though...

Was that the KATRINA car that Mike has been trying to sell? Congrats on the new to you ride. Hope you will be able to make it to the picnic at my house August 9th.
that might be doable, i AM planning on Dayton this year, though i will miss carlisle.

update:

so i got it home, it ran horrible the entire way, and i found out why. my dumb ass left the spout unplugged after we rechecked the timing. cool! moron...

anyways, plugged that back in, and went to work on her.

new items installed: ignition wires, cap, rotor, coil, TFI, dizzy pickup, cone filter (has the right drop in K&N, but its nasty), electric radiator fan, oil sending unit, water temp switch, console door, trans tunnel seal, shifter boot and bezel, cluster (87 Canadian 200KPH cluster with 86 tach and boost gauge), trunk seals, exhaust (2.5" straight pipe from turbo to bumper, sounds EVIL).

items on the list, or on the bench waiting: new small 'L' hoses for heater lines around turbo, water neck for 93 mustang 2.3l (its cast aluminum, thicker, and will last forever, $9.00), thermostat, radiator cap with pressure relief, tires, radio.

need to fix/diagnose: passenger window doesn't move, radio doesn't work, air doesn't work, radiator fan doesn't shut itself off from relay, just runs when ever the key is on, climate buttons are VERY hard to use, cruise kinda works, but cant hold speed.

overall, i love the car. i have next to nothing in it, and it runs great!

Thanks again mike!
