can someone please help me figure out how to remove the trim around the doors. Its paint time and I don't want to break anything that would be tough to replace. Any help is appreciated.
The window belt molding has a nut on the end to be removed, at the door jamb. Remove the mirror and it should lift off with the window rolled down.

For the window run channel, you'll need to remove the front bolt (accessible behind the door panel next to the speaker) and remove the lower rear run channel, a separate piece. You should then be able to pull it off the pinch weld. Once you get that away from the door, there will be rivets you'll have to drill to remove the outer window opening trim. Be careful when removing it.. it's thin metal and will bend. There's a joint for the trim betweeen the mirror area and the rest of the window opening, but you can remove it all as one piece.

The door window pillar trim - having trouble remembering, but I think it's 2 or 3 phillips screws hidden behind the run channel.
Thanks for the info, I'm one step closer to getting the bird back on the road.
