I tried a search and went through some threads and did not get a definite answer. Mostly because I am not sure what I am looing for.

I am taking the head off and replacing it with one I am having rebuild and worked over. I already found through search that I am going to go with a Felpro 8993 head gasket. Now I am looing at the bolt options.

What should I get. What else should I do with it while I am at it?
For a mild setup, you can't go wrong with the factory TTY bolts.
Ok
Is that a good head gasket?
Anything else I should get?
The 8993 is a good gasket and cheaper than the other one. It is more tolerant of minor surface irregularities.
Ill do that!
tty headbolts should never be used on a turbo app.. they were introduced after the end of the turbo motor production and were a cheaper product for ford..used in n/a engines and are a one time use only deal... the 12 point factory bolts on your engine are stronger than arp bolts and they are reusable...6 point bolts now sold as replacements are not suitable for our engines...
I've never had a problem running Felpro TTY head bolts on my '86. Yes the factory 12-points would be the way to go if you have them, but I would not hesitate to use TTY bolts on a fairly close to stock setup.
