All,

As you are aware already the 86 Turbocoupe has a vbelt drive. My A/C compressor (pancake style)has recently went out and I had a friend hold a N/A 2.3 motor for me so I could rob the serpentine drive off it.

Problem is, the A/C bracket and all won't allow the new compressor to clear the turbo. Is the 2.3 Turbo, Serpentine belt front engine accessory drive on the A/C side, specific to the 87-up Turbocoupes?

I need to find someone that has a 87-88 Turbocoupe A/C bracket so I can convert my car over to serpentine drive.

Thanks,
Richard

I have to double check but on 87-88 tc's the a/c had its own serpentine belt that locates the a/c compressor a couple inches forward.
