My '88 TC is slinging more oil from the rear main seal than I care to support any longer at $4/qt. I plan to pull the motor and replace the seal. That leads to the question of what else I should do while it is out and easily torn down. She has 133k on the clock and I am unaware of whether or not the motor has even been out. She is my daily winter driver, runs fine, and the turbo is happy to push 15-18 PSI on call. I am not overly concerned with making more power, I just want to insure reliability. My initial thought is to replace at least most of the gaskets, and any lines or hoses that look too long in the tooth. Any other suggestions?
