I have seen numerous post on the different exhaust systems where Dynomax Ultraflows are recommened. I was wondering if anyone has used Dynomax VT mufflers. I am planning to install a 3" downpipe into a 2.5 dual exhaust but I am unsure about the mufflers.
As long as they are straight through design you should have no problems
How do straight through mufflers sound on these cars? I have a Hooker flow-through muffler on my 302 Bronco that sounds awesome, mean and loud at WOT and reasonably quiet at lower speeds or on the highway. I have to cut the exhaust to get the driver side RLCA removed to install my new shiny ones from Maximum Motorsports, so.....

Straight through sound great, but not only that but they are best best muffler for our cars. It allows the turbo to spool quickly, plus our cars hate backpressure created by baffled mufflers. You will lose noticeable power5 with a baffled muffler, so go straiht through for sure.
I run the Hooker Maxflo on mine. Sounds good.
