How many gentlemen and ladies on this forum ride? I bought my first motorcycle when I was 18 and I've been hooked ever since! I absolutely love the free feeling of riding and you just can't beat the power to weight ratio of a motorcycle for the cost.

Currently I have 2 bikes: a 2005 Suzuki Bandit 1200 and a 1997 Suzuki tl1000s ( the original Widowmaker, for those of you in the know!). So what do you ride?

I have a 1999 HD Softail Custom. I too have been riding since I was about 13, but I took about a 25 year brake from ownership just before getting married. I had to sell my 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 to buy furniture. She was worth it! Gave me 2 wonderful daughters and 34 of the best years of my life so far!
Good to see you got back on the road Racer! My dad also sold his bike when he said I do lol, but he had a gs1000. I've heard plenty of stories about the bike and it's probably for the best they were sold lol. I'm married, but no kids yet so I'm still holding on to my bikes (for now lol)
This is my bandit and its dyno chart after a slip on and jetting. It pulls likes a freight train with a nuke shoved up its butt! I will have to get some good pictures of my TL.

There... that's better. Big Grin

I had a bike for about a year. Honda CX500... traded it for my '50 Chevy. We used to ride when we were younger. I like bikes, but not enough to own one permanently. :dunno:

Plus - Just about everyone who drives around here is a complete moron so being on a motorcycle is exceptionally dangerous.

Very nice Nat! The cbr's are sweet bikes. I checked out the 1000s a few years ago but when I sat on it I didn't fit! I'm about 6' 3" and my cousin said I looked like a monkey humping a football lol.

Brian, you always need to assume every cage on the road is out to kill you. Assume it, because it's true. It's the guys that ride in NYC that really impress me though lol.

no doubt, lol, they're little bikes. that plays into the fun factor though, its like a 2wheel go-kart that wants to jump out from under you at 13k rpms!

i'm 6ft, but thin, slouch well, and fit a Med KBC helmet. Big Grin

I have an 01 Dyna Glide Sport. I did one long trip, 5,800 mi. to Ca. and back.
