I am going to try this adapter I had made to see if its a good fix for the sagging in the rear when using SN95 springs on our birds. Spacer right now is 1", so I will test fit and cut down as necessary till I reach the right ride height. Hopefully this will make the SN95 springs more appealing.

Nice idea Chip.
I've seen those in various thicknesses on Ebay. I may grab a pair for the Bird.
Hey Chip, next set you make, make an extra set for me , 1 inch will work, or 3/4 too, witch ever size you make . thanks. D.Wilder........ [email protected]

let me know what I owe you , or parts if you need something .
i use a serpentine water pump pulley from a 5.0 on the top of the spring. it's 1". a v-belt pulley is 1/2". if you look close, you can see it. the spring seats nicely in the pulley.

What spring is that? Looks like a 5.0 lowering spring

it is.....i also raised the front mount of the lower control arm to add anti-squat to the rear suspension giving the effect of a lift bar. that will add a little to the ride height. it sits about stock to slightly lower with that arrangement.

How did you raise the front mount? Please elaborate. Thanks
i drilled new holes about 1.25" higher in the torque box and reinforced it with battle boxes. there's plenty of room, even to use the factory control arms. i used mustang battle boxes......the hole is higher and locates where to drill.
Great idea..id buy a set as a cheaper alternative to the adjustable control arms
