Thank you all for correctly diagnosing my TFI ignition problem last December. I now have my TC back on the road. I can't believe how smoothly it runs with 15 year old spark plugs in it. I want to change them but it looks really intimidating. Question, what parts should I remove and what special tools should I buy to help me replace the spark plugs?

Thanks, Salida Geoff
You dont need any special tools for the spark plugs. Just a socket that fits.

If this has a stock intercooler I would get it out of the way. This should give you access to all the plugs. Stay away from platinum plugs. Autolite or Motorcraft are recommended. If changing wires stick with Motorcraft.
There is no way to get the plugs out with the stock IC in place. Remove it. As noted above, Motorcraft, Autolite, or NGK2238 / TR5 plugs only. Also as noted above, use Motorcraft plug wires, WR-4011-C. Rockauto has them for a reasonable price.
