North American Turbocoupe Organization

Hey all im a noob with anything electrical but have installed tons of car stereos and what not. I have a simple question..I ordered a eletric auto metere oil pressure gauge with the sending unit. Now I plan on down the road in the next few weeks depending on my finances will order at least a wideband and possibly boost gauge or fuel pressure. Now since I know ill be ordering a few more gauges that will need a 12 volt feed and also a feed for the back lights on the gauges when I put on my lights. Should I wire up some kind of power block or something? Not sure how its done properly and I dont wanna jimmy rig the wiring. Can I run 12 volts to one gauge and run that 12 volts to the other 2 gauges in the same pod?

To answer the last part yes

You can run one ground, one hot and one dimmer and connect all your gauges to them.

Dumb question where should I grab the dimmer wire from ??

You tap into the dimmer swich or if you don't care to have them dim just tap into the headlight fuse

This is why I used ISSPRO gauges in my last Powerstroke. The connectors on the back of the gauges make it super easy to "daisy chain" multiple gauges.

For anyone looking at adding gauges, I would highly recommend ISSPRO. Quality stuff. You pay for it, but it's worth it. (No, I don't work for them!) I had the EV2 series stuff in my truck and they were nice.
