Having grown tired of Condensation in my Headlight area

I carefully, and without any damage, managed to separate the lenses from the main headlight body assembly.

Tools were: Patience, several X-ACTO #10 Blades, Masking Tape, Hair Dryer and LOW Pressure compressed Air, judiciously applied.

Disassembly time - Start to finish 2 hours

I have cleaned up the interior area of the assembly and the Reflectors are in reasonably good ( serviceable ) shape.

Now the $64,000 Question:

What Sealing compound, material etc.- ( windshield install compound ?) for example >?) will both Seal and Secure the lenses , as they were originally done, would anyone recommend ?

I checked the past threads and did not find an answer.

Anyone have a thought ?
When I did my headlight project I used Automotive GOOP from Pep Boys. It's been holding up very well no water or condensation inside. Believe me it's been raining for the last 5 days so I think they will be alright. Hint: when you put the GOOP on use a spreader and get it inside the groove. I used heavy duty rubber bands to hold the 2 pieces together for 24 hrs.

Thank you - Understood.

Seemingly No end in sight here in the NY Metro area for the rain lately either

And to your very good point -

I have completely cleaned ALL the OEM sealant from the Main Body Groves -

Believe me that was a priority to both Remove everything while at the same time Not damaging the channel in the body - Nor the Flanged mating surface on the outer optic cover itself.

Thanks very much for your help and input.

Sincerely appreciated.
