Hi

I have TC from 1988, engine is from TC 1985 but intake and other accesories like alternator etc are from 1988, ( 1985 is turbo t3 block of engine and head). The engine starts lovely and running good until rpm going low. I can't set idle speed at 870 rpm, I only could set rpm at 1200 (at 1200 it works good)maby som vaccum leak? I also need a Vac Lines diagram ( I'm not sure that I join them right)
Igor, Normal idle speed, warm and accessories basically off, is 900 to 1000 rpms. You need to set the idle speed per this article;
http://turbotbird.com/techinfo/Idle-TPSa...e2005.html

This is the only vacuum diagram we have. It is for an 87-88. Some of it would apply to earlier TCs.
I'm doing with idle like you said but I can't set it, because if I set 800 rpm with Idle bypas off and when I plug it on rpm is 1000-1200 rpm, it doesn't works
Can you get it to idle below 800 with the idle bypass unplugged?
If so, that should change the rpm with the bypass plugged in.
What voltage are you setting the TPS at? 0.95v is a good spot.
Now I have tps and trotle body from Ford merkur wich is not adjustable and now engine works better but not good
