Went to Napierville Dragway October 25th and did new personal record with my bone stock t-bird.
14.21 at 94mph with 1.91 60ft. I guess it's not to bad since it was done with a bog just before the finish line. I'll try to fix that before the week-end and if the weather's good,i'll try to beat that time.
14.21 in the 1/4???
If that is BONE stock, people in hell are no longer thirsty...

Yea, that's kinda what I was thinking.
According to MotorTrend, a stock '87 5 speed was running low 16's.
The best I ever got out of mine stock was something like a 16.03, if I remember correctly.
My brainometer tells me you would need somewhere around 325hp at the crank and be a damn good driver to pull off a 14.21 in a TC
How does a "bone stock" 155HP Auto TC turn in over 2 seconds better than what the mags got out on a 190 HP, 1987 5 speed? Anxiously awaiting video, time slip and other reconciling factors.
Hoosier and technic! Front and rear sway bar removed and power steering deleted!!!!
I'll also have a picture of the engine compartment as soon as i figure out how to post them.
I had technic once. They gave me a pill that got rid of it.
Dan, you have to understand our skepticism. You are claiming you are about 3 sec better than stock due to some slicks and an STD. I'd love to know how you did it. Even with my mods (see sig) I am not sure I could pull off that time. I am not even sure your fuel pump could keep up...
Fuel pump will be the first modification that i will do,also i bought a front mount ic like a week ago.Planning on changing tb to 94-95 5.0L and port the intake. The only thing i'm not sure is if it will be blow thrue or normal.I picked up a holset hx35,but i also have a t3.I also need to switch to roller cam because this is holding me big time.
