Have so many projects and trying to streamline...Had a chance on a 76 Pinto on EBay...local car...within 5 miles...problem is the guy won't come down on his price. So I do have a 77 Pinto wagon 2.3 4 spd. that I could do...also have a 84 stang V6 auto...just throwing this out...am doing tons of searches for the 2.3 TC swap...if anyone has done it any advice would be greatly appreciated...Will continue the search for knowledge on this subject...I guess what I'll end up doing is refurbishing all the TC's on the estate and doing the Pinto as a "FUN FACTOR" car...have a 57 Ford 9" and a Dana 44 from a Mail Jeep...heard can use either one or the 8" from the stang if the Pinto is not an 8"...

Try over at turboford.org That site still is based on the 2.3 turbo engine, but it covers the engine being in several different types of vehicles. Someone there will have the swap info you are looking for. Good luck!
Funny enough, i have the very car of which you speak: a 77 pinto wagon with a turbo from an 85 (near as i can tell) tc.

Email me if you want, [email protected], but you can also see some pics at photos.yahoo.com/jfryjfry

i didn't build it, but i can tell you what it looks like he's done, and the best part is, i am taking the drive train out and putting it in a project, so i will have all the stuff he made for the pinto specifically and not need it.

Jeremy in socal.
